Stop riding if…
In these cases bring the bike to our store without riding it and don’t try to repair it yourself. Don’t charge a damaged e-bike battery. This list is not a diagnosis; if you are unsure, don’t ride.
- The brakes don’t stop the bike safely, or a brake lever reaches the handlebar.
- A wheel has play, is loose, or the rim wobbles noticeably.
- The handlebar or fork is loose, crooked or has play.
- You see a crack, dent or break in the frame, fork or handlebar — especially after a fall.
- An e-bike battery is damaged, swollen, overheating or smells.
